‘Northwords’ anthology seeks submissions
March 29, 2010
Serial anthologist Michael Engelhard has a problem: He can’t seem to stop making anthologies. And, while normally I might suggest not encouraging this sort of obsession, the truth is that he creates beautiful, thoughtful, poetic collections. His upcoming anthology, “Northwords,” seeks submissions on writing and life in the Last Frontier. For the full call for submissions, click the link that follows.

August 02, 2009

This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten this kind of request.
I wasn’t able to give him a name, but I could provide some suggestions for grant-writing resources in Alaska. With no specific endorsement implied, here are the resources I shared with him…
Anthology editor seeks “literary snapshots of Alaska”
July 17, 2009
Think you can squeeze Alaska into a nutshell? Anthology editor Michael Engelhard is seeking short prose submissions he calls “micro-narratives”—as well as photos— for an upcoming anthology: Cold Flashes: Literary Snapshots of Alaska. His call for submissions follows…
